Generation Warriors

Generation Warriors is a 1991 science fiction novel by Anne McCaffrey and Elizabeth Moon.

Related are the books The Death of Sleep and Sassinak which precede it in the series. The three can be found collected in a volume titled The Planet Pirates. McCaffrey's two Ireta novels (Dinosaur Planet and Dinosaur Planet Survivors also feature some of the same characters and are relevant to this novel. It is not essential to read them first, though it does help.

The main character, Sassinak, from the first novel teams up the main character from the second, Lunzie (her great grandmother who is her age because of relativity stasis induced by cold sleep), to end the threat of the planet pirates.
