General Records was a small United States record label formed in 1972.

General Records was founded in Minneapolis, the home town of the food industry giant General Mills. The name General Records was a playfull jab at the breakfast food corporation.

General Records moved to Hollywood in 1997, and continues releasing records, to this day.
