General George Handicap

The General George Handicap is a race for thoroughbred horses run at Laurel Park in Laurel, Maryland each year. The Grade II race is open to horses, age three and up, willing to race seven furlongs on the dirt. It offers a purse of $300,000.

It will be in its 34rd running in 2009.
