Gene Corum (born May 29, 1921) was the head football coach for West Virginia University from 1960 to 1965. His record there was 29-30-2. Despite going 0-8-2 in his first season, he went 8-2 in 1962.
Corum was a lineman for the West Virginia Mountaineers in the 1940s, graduating in 1948. He was inducted into the West Virginia University Sports Hall of Fame in 1984.
