Description |
A selection of gem pebbles: made by tumbling rough rock with abrasive, in a rotating drum.
The picture was made without use of a camera, simply by arranging the pebbles on the glass of my flat bed scanner.
Photographed by Adrian Pingstone in February 2003 and released to the public domain.
(Note that the label LACE AGATE should have been BLUE LACE AGATE, Adrian Pingstone's mistake)
An unlabelled version exists (for labelling in other languages): Image:gem.pebbles.800pix.jpg
