Geir Pollestad

Geir Pollestad (born 13 August 1978) is a Norwegian politician for the Centre Party.
Hailing from Bryne, he served as a deputy representative to the Norwegian Parliament from Rogaland during the term 2001–2005. He took his higher education at the University of Bergen, graduating as cand.jur. in 2006. During the term 2005–2009 he again served as a deputy representative, but this time from Hordaland.
In 2007, during the second cabinet Stoltenberg, Pollestad was appointed political advisor in the Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development. In late 2007 he changed to the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy.
