Geir Hvidsten

Geir Hvidsten is a 24 year old songwriter/producer/DJ from Tromsø, Norway. As a songwriter he has contributed on songs for artists such as Jessica Simpson, Espen Lind and Maria Arredondo.

He had a Norwegian #1 as co-writer of the hit single "Unloved" by Espen Lind, which was featured on Lind's gold selling album "April". The song also featured on the album "Hallelujah! Live" with Lind, Nilsen, Fuentes & Holm, which sold 250,000 albums in Norway, and is currently certified 6 x platinum. He also co-wrote the official Norwegian Pop Idol 2006 single "This Is Life". The same song was also a hit in Switzerland a year later when it was released as a single for the Swiss Pop Idol finalists.

Hvidsten has also co-written the songs "Stop" and "Over It", which was released by Chinese artist MV in 2007.

As a DJ, Hvidsten has toured with several Norwegian acts, and has released several mixtapes featuring some of the hottest r'n'b and rap acts in Norway.

He is currently writing and producing songs for upcoming projects in his Oslo-based studio.
