[edit] Feminism sub categories

Please be careful to meet wikipedia naming conventions. Your category should be "Category:Feminist activists and theorists" although I would recommend more removing the activist since most noted feminists are activist in some way since they let their feminism be known but not all are theorists. So, I recommend you move everything in that category to "Category:Feminist theorists". I'll keep an eye on your progress; if you have any questions ask. gren グレン 17:03, 5 December 2005 (UTC)

Well, the celebrities are pretty much activists if they are vocal about it. They are not, however, theorists. So I recommend sticking to just theorists since that is a much more clear cut. Deciding who is activist and who isn't is very much bordering on original research. gren グレン 17:14, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
How about this. You create Category:Feminist activists and Category:Feminist theorists. You can put some in both but it won't limit those who aren't both activists and theorists and will also have proper naming scheme. I think activist is harder to tell but if the literature says they are an activist then they can be in the category? How does that sound? That was my main issue with you lumping both into one category, it's just not typically how directory structures are named here. Definitely not the capital letters but also not using "and" so much. Does that sound good to you? because, it sounds good to me :) gren グレン 17:52, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
Make sure the second word is lower case unless a proper noun. If you make any mistakes add {{db|mistake category, proper category is XXXXXXX}} to your category so someone can delete it. The same goes for "Category:Feminist Theorists & Activists" after you depopulate it. I don't know what the proper categories are, you can split it up as you see fit since you seem to know more (make sure it's more than your own opinion of course). I just want to make sure they are propely named. gren グレン 18:07, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
