Re:barnstar/holmes.sherlock
"I am very sorry, but I just want to receive barnstar, and, are you an administrator here in wikipedia? Sorry and cheersHolmes.sherlock 05:11, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
So, if you are not an admin, how can you block me from editing? And why did you see my user page? Just want to know.Holmes.sherlock 05:18, 19 August 2007 (UTC)"
- The above comment was posted in your archive. Another editor had also went there but she was just thanking you in an earlier discussion so I kept it there while moving this comment here. Hope I didn't disorganize anything. -WarthogDemon 01:30, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
- I hate the fact that at some point we have to give him warnings and such. I'm pretty sure he doesn't mean to disrupt Wikipedia. I think he's just having a hard time understand Wikipedia in general; maybe all the wikiterms we use. :/ -WarthogDemon 18:07, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
- I have decided to leave him a message if indeed he is having problems understanding. Hope the message will help. -WarthogDemon 19:18, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
- I too have been observing this user for quite some time and I'm positive we're dealing with a young editor: Image:Holmes.sherlockoasis.jpg. Sort of why I offered help, since I don't see any reason that, despite his age, he can't be a contributer in some form or another. Either that or this is the strangest vandal I've ever come across. -WarthogDemon 19:41, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
- I have decided to leave him a message if indeed he is having problems understanding. Hope the message will help. -WarthogDemon 19:18, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

Re:(User talk:ais523) User holmes.sherlock
Thanks for your message; maybe the user in question will now learn that if you're faking someone's signature, it helps to get the right signature (but preferably, they'll learn that faking a sig is a bad idea generally). --ais523 16:26, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

Disambiguation
Giles Sorry, don't know if I'm doing this in the right place, but yes, help would be welcome re 'disambiguation' - the page I created has been hijacked by someone with the same name and I was going to just undo all their changes, but thought a message might be less confrontational - don't want to start an editing war!! Help! Clareria—Preceding unsigned comment added by Clareria (talk • contribs)
Many thanks for your help. What a hero!! I did make a good start but then got distracted watching Heroes on TV! 8-) Will sort out the disambiguation page tomorrow. And i was just looking up how to put a signature on when your message came through - so you're the mind reader type of hero eh? I think my David Bateman owes me a drink for all this. Cheers again --Clareria 21:51, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
Thanks again for sorting that out! --Clareria 06:26, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
Dead Good Poets Society
Hmmm. Another question. I am a board member (or even bard member!) of DGPS so there's no problem with copyright as far as the group is concerned. Not sure how to show this in the text though, if i need to - can you direct me? Hey - Did you know I ws going to say that, too? 8-) --Clareria 06:26, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
Shall I just re-edit the wording then - would that be easier? What's the worst thing that could happen if I didn't?
Oh, and you might have been watching the previous week's, but I was watching the following week's Heroes on BBC3 - many revelations but more questions. I've been wondering what my superpower should be. I was tempted by stopping time, but would settle for time travel or invisibility. --Clareria 18:20, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
COI - Conflict of Interest
Thanks for helping me on that one.
I have added a comment on the Eastern_Municipal_Water_District_of_Southern_California talk page and would be grateful if you'd copy your opinion there.

Userpage Vandalism
Your userpage has just been vandalized by Juhotheman, which I have reverted. Just figured you might want to know. Arienh4(Talk) 19:55, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

That account is already indef blocked. Just leave him alone. There is nothing particularly wrong with what he is doing. If he wants to clear his warnings and leave just the {{indef}} template, that's fine. -- Gogo Dodo 08:01, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
I blocked this user at 7:52 UTC. You were telling them that they would be blocked at 7:57, when they clearly were already blocked. A blocked editor can edit their own talkpages as much as they want as long as they are not being abusive. For future reference the block log is available here, and I fully protected the talkpage to prevent any further nonsense from either blocked or unblocked editors. I noticed you removed ClueBot's warning. What you should do is put a new warning under the previous one, like this:
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.
Thanks, happy editing! Cheers,JetLover (Report a mistake) 22:20, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
Rimmed
Only 1 contributor -- I've given an attack warn. If she does it again, she should be blocked. I don't think salting is necessary unless a different user reposts. Thanks, NawlinWiki 22:35, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
Page clean up
Thank you for the page revert. :) --Moonriddengirl 19:48, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
- Maybe this time, but nevertheless I'm grateful. :) I once didn't notice some particularly vile vandalism for several days. :/ In fact, it might be there still if somebody else hadn't chanced upon it. --Moonriddengirl 19:51, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
University of Florida need Arbitration!!!! =
User:Cmprince seems to have some kind of vendeta against UF, and he deletes the alumni that I took hours to research. He has some kind of axe to grind, and is a miserable human being. Please help, by Arbitrating the dispute we are having. I just simply want to do my alma mater justice by allowing it the reputation that it has achieved in the real world. By the way I am not a Tech Person, I do not waste my time editing random pages. I simply have one issue that I am very very passionate about, and that is UF. Please help! —Preceding unsigned comment added by WOverstreet (talk • contribs)
