[edit] all land is owned by the crown - an irrelevance
That all land is or is not owned by the crown is a complete red herring. It matters not one jot whether this is the case or not - gazumping could STILL occur and DOES occur in some countries where there is no monarch. So I intend to remove (otherwise possibly factually correct) information which has no bearing on the article. Paul Beardsell 19:18, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
And you _can_ be gazumped on leasehold property. Paul Beardsell 16:52, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
