Gazaria is located at 23.5417° N 90.6083° E . It has 22113 units of house hold and total area 130.92 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census^[1], Gazaria has a population of 128368. Males constitute 51.05% of the population, and females 48.95%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 62078. Gazaria has an average literacy rate of 32.7% (7+ years), and a national average of 32.4% literate. ^[2]
