[edit] Biography
The band was formed last September 9, 2005, with original bassist, Sojie Cura. They won the “Best Vocalist”, “Best Drummer” and “First Runner Up” awards during the 2005 Rave Battle of the Bands at Faith, Tanuan City. In 2006, they won the said competition with new bassist, JV Vivas. They were joined by percussionist, Philip Gonzales in April 2007. They have performed as front act for bands such as Imago, Rocksteddy, 6cyclemind, Session Road, Sponge Cola, Pupil and Frio. After winning various band competitions, Gayuma decided to make their own songs to revive the funk scene.
