Please don't be silly

Please don't monkey about with joke edits, such as your edit to Motorcycle. We try hard here to produce something we can all be proud of, and silliness doesn't help. Articles are monitored, and users messing around could be blocked. Why not try and contribute something useful instead? Have a look at the below and get stuck in properly:

  The five pillars of Wikipedia
  How to edit a page
  Help pages
  Tutorial
How to write a great article
  Manual of Style
  Fun stuff...

Thanks - and enjoy yourself as a responsible Wikipedian!

I never edited Motorcycle! At least, I can't find any instance in the edit history. Could you please refer me to the revision of "my" edit?

Your recent revert on Aerogel

Your revert wasn't wrong, but you didn't revert far enough back. Philip Trueman 19:20, 19 October 2007 (UTC)

That's basically what I meant. I was suspicious that something like that would happen... Gawaxay (talk contribs count)

Narf revert

I'm sorry to have reverted your revert on Narf (id 165699689) by accident, in my temptation to revert what should have been reverted. Luckily, you reverted it correctly just afterwards. We live in a reverting world, huh ? - Greetz - DéRahier 20:19, 19 October 2007 (UTC)

Yep, I'd have to agree with ya there. Gawaxay (talk contribs count)
Aarghh .; I did it again, on Athabasca Oil Sands this time. Nothing personal, it seems like TW has a problem with simultaneous edits. Sorry again, I'll try to avoid this in future - DéRahier 20:41, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
Did I warn you? Sorry. It's just that generally on Wikipedia my daily routine is the following:
  1. Log in.
  2. Go to Filter Recent Changes.
  3. Revert someone replacing a page with "poop."
  4. Warn the vandal.
  5. Repeat 3-4.

October 2007

Thank you for making a report on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, administrators are generally only able to block users if they have received a recent final warning (one that mentions that the user may be blocked) and they have recently vandalized after that warning was given. The reported user has not yet been blocked because it appears this has not occurred yet. If this user continues to vandalize even after their final warning, please report them to the AIV noticeboard again. Thank you! ---J.S (T/C/WRE) 20:45, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

I thought the warning by CounterVandalismBot counted. Sorry. Gawaxay (talk contribs count)
It's not a "final" warning. ---J.S (T/C/WRE) 22:31, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
Oh. Gawaxay (talk contribs count)
No big deal. Just a heads-up! ---J.S (T/C/WRE) 01:43, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

NPWatcher

User_talk:Snowolf seems to be the go-to guy for that. :) --Moonriddengirl (talk) 17:29, 28 October 2007 (UTC)

I am an admin, yes, and you're not making yourself look stupid. :) But admins aren't involved with every wikiproject or bot. Each one has its own specific maintainers, who may or may not also be admins. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 17:36, 28 October 2007 (UTC)

Moonriddengirl is right, and I'm not involved in that either. But let me know if you need help with anything else. Academic Challenger 21:04, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
