From the Editors
The WikiProject Professional wrestling newsletter is starting up an interview segment that has been in the works for some time now. The current schedule for interviews can be seen here. If you would like to submit a question for an interviewee, please do so by following the instructions here. We are accepting questions for any future interviews. If you would like to sign up to be interviewed, then you may do so here. We hope that this segment will be one of the most popular this project's newsletter has to offer, and promote a greater sense of community amongst the project members. The first interview will be published in next week's issue, and will be with TJ Spyke. In other matters, we are still running low on current events. If you know of any in the wrestling world that you believe merit mention in the newsletter, or wish to comment on any other aspect of the newsletter, then please contact us here. Thanks everyone, and enjoy the holiday season.

[edit] Stevie Richard's page
Hi Gavyn, I noticed that you undid all my contributions to Stevie Richard's page. What was wrong with the entries? Those are his interests outside of wrestling. He wants to talk about the other stuff he does, outside of wrestling, is that not allowed? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Blackrose36 (talk • contribs) 21:36, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for your response, that was actually my first ever contribution, I usually just read the articles. I'll fix it up and you let me know if it's ok. I'll make the pic a little smaller, I wanted to add that in there, cause he's actually very cute in that pic and I wanted people to see what he's like outside wrestling. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Blackrose36 (talk • contribs) 23:57, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the invitation. I will continue to make changes to the article, I'll read up on more on how to do this right. Thanks for your help! Blackrose36 (talk) 01:56, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] WP:PW interview
So, weren't you going to suggest a question for the newsletter? :) The Chronic 06:01, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Members Recall
Lex, where the hell are they even implying that that's what they interpreted your post as. I don't see it. Calm down and clear your head. An inactive and active members list is fine. But it serves no real purpose that I can see. Gavyn Sykes (talk) 04:18, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
They did imply that the Active members list is to drop people from the project. When you said "I don't see it", you assured that you did not read the 2 comments above mine:
- If I were one of the ones who was excluded, I'd be offended that you seemed to want to drop me from the project because I don't post on this talk page often enough.
-GaryColemanFan
- The minute it starts feeling like a job or something that you have to do otherwise risk getting kicked outta the club or whatever, it loses it's appeal fast.
-Odin's Beard

From the Editors
A new feature for the newsletter is the member interview segment, seen to the left of this newsletter. Each week, a user will be interviewed in a questionnaire. Other users will have the chance to submit questions to ask the user (to be included in the interview). Questions can be submitted here. If you would like to be interviewed for a future issue, go to the newsletter's talk page and apply there. We still need people to contact us about current events. If you know of any in the wrestling world that is worth notable in the next issue, or wish to comment on any other aspect of the newsletter, then please contact us here. Happy holidays! - Just finished the WWE title section. Your doing a good job on the "Event" part. I'll reference it when I come to it (I probably won't do that until February, as WWE will be opening the WM24 section soon I imagine). D.M.N. (talk) 17:54, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Happy New Year!
The Chronic has given you a bottle of Cristal! Cristal costs $350, and hopefully this bottle has made your New Year's Day better. Spread the spirit of the New Year by giving a bottle of Cristal to someone else, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend. Happy editing!
Give a bottle of Cristal to someone else by adding {{subst:User:The Hybrid/Finger}} to their talk page with a friendly... wait...
- Hey, one more thing: you're being interviewed for this week's newsletter. You can answer it here. The Chronic 22:43, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] ECW (WWE)
The same IP adding the unsourced info here. Even though WWE announced that RAW is going high-def, they don't seem to realize that high-def could be 720p, 1080i, or 1080p and they are providing no source (and no source for if/when SmackDown and ECW will go high-def). [edit] I'm not sure if I am doing this correctly....but why was the information I contributed about Bill Goldberg removed ?
Gavyn Not being technically savy....I'm not sure if I am doing this correctly... but I would like to know why my edit about Bill Goldberg's pro-football career with the Sacramento Surge of the WLAF was removed ? There are others who care about the pro-football side rather than the wrestling, and I for one would like to see complete info about people I look up. If I edited wrong or whatever; fine, but to remove information about a year he played on a professional football team that wasn't even listed does everyone a disservice. Sincerely Jeremy —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.69.160.81 (talk) 01:52, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Stephanie McMahon, Vince McMahon, et al
Please do not revert my edits. I know what I am doing. All names starting with "Mc" are supposed to be defaultsorted as "Mac" to assist in category sorting. If you are unclear about something, you should contact me or an admin; you shouldn't delete other people's work without taking these steps. Yellow-bellied sapsucker (talk) 01:00, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Things aren't done this way.
We have never noted one night occurences like this. What makes this one any different?--72.186.91.47 (talk) 20:18, 16 January 2008 (UTC) i'm in delirium!!!!!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.129.219.141 (talk) 10:12, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Hornetman
Doesn't he just piss you off? He keeps coming back, even when he knows the WP:PW community doesn't want him here. Cheers, LAX 03:22, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Zane Truesdale
Your edit was reverted. In Season 4 Zane is shocked while drawing from the deck and realizes it has been the cause of his heart conditions, not the electrodes as he originally thought. The Clawed One (talk) 22:48, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, it was translated correctly. Further proof comes when Syrus uses the deck, and he too is subject to pain upon using it. The Clawed One (talk) 22:57, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Comments on another's talk page
Dude, if users want to remove comments from their own talk page, they can. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mshake3 (talk • contribs) 23:42, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- Well I had someone doing the same thing to me (reverting my removal of comments on my talk page), and it would be hypocritical of me to ignore the same thing happening to someone else. I disagree with the guys edits, but policy is policy. Mshake3 (talk) 01:05, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Sikes
Hi, my name is Steelerfan-94. I also do a lot of WWE suff on Wikipedia, As a fellow student how do you find the time to write and edit on Wikipedia? and do you have any pointers you can give me on like on editing wrestling articles like the WWE Roster or something. let me know, Steelerfan-94 (talk) 19:13, 25 January 2008 (UTC).
[edit] Speedy deletion of Template:ECW Roster
A tag has been placed on Template:ECW Roster requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.
If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes.
Thanks. --MZMcBride (talk) 01:31, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Sorry I'm new
When did the Observer stop being considered a reliable source for results? –– Lid(Talk) 04:37, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
- I'm just amused you didn't call me on the "I'm new" part of this topic when I have "administrator" on my profile page and got CM Punk to FA status. –– Lid(Talk) 04:45, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
- It's rather irrelevant anyway, SmackDown is airing in Australia right this moment so it is no longer a spoiler. –– Lid(Talk) 04:50, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
- I am not entirely aware of what is going on but it seems some people have been attempting argumentum ad nauseum to claim that the consensus is spoilers are not allowed and the Australian airing is unreliable which is the complete opposite of the actual consensus reached. The spoiler one I can sort of comprehend, but the "Australian airing is unreliable" is ridiculous and isn't even a spoiler issue. I'm tempted to point out the actual consensus arguments on wikipedia, and even the wikiproject, and their results to say that it isn't who yells the loudest and the most often that is factual. –– Lid(Talk) 01:16, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
