Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! Hope you like it here, and stick around.
Here are some tips to help you get started:
- To sign your posts (on talk pages, for example) use the '~' symbol. To insert just your name, type ~~~ (3 tildes), or, to insert your name and timestamp, use ~~~~ (4 tildes).
- Try the Tutorial, and feel free to experiment in the test area.
- If you need help, post a question at the Help Desk
- Eventually, you might want to read the Manual of Style and Policies and Guidelines.
- Remember Wikipedia:Neutral point of view
- Explore, be bold in editing pages, and, most importantly, have fun!
Good luck!

Hi Gavin ! I saw you posted in the discussion page of the Scientology article. That page gets long and sometimes difficult to talk on, while your discussion page is yours to edit any way you wish to. I'm a Scientologist and I try to spell out on my user page of what substance Scientology is based on. Feel free to ask me anything. On the other hand I'll reply but few will be the Scientologists who try to convince you their point of view is right. Have fun :) Terryeo 03:09, 1 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] List of hello world programs
That article was deleted because it was previously moved to another project, in particular Wikibooks. It can still be linked as this: wikibooks:List of hello world programs. For your reference, the reason why an article is deleted can be usually found in the deletion log: go to Special:Logs, select "deletion log" and type the article title. I have redeleted that article as it's not necessary, given that it exists in another project and can still be linked. Tizio, Caio, Sempronio 13:41, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
