Gaviota Peak is a summit in the Santa Ynez Mountains in the U.S. state of California. It is located in the Santa Ynez Mountains.
The low peak is prominent because it is the highest point in its range. It has a popular hiking trail that starts in Gaviota State Park and ends in the Los Padres National Forest. The trail passes Gaviota Hot Springs, and offers views of the Santa Ynez Mountains, Lompoc Valley, the Pacific Ocean and the Channel Islands.[1]
