Gavin Quinnell (born 25 November 1983 in Llanelli, Wales) is a welsh rugby union player. He currently plays for Worcester Warriors in the Guinness Premiership. He plays in the back row. He is the son of Derek Quinnell and brother of Scott Quinnell and Craig Quinnell, all former Wales internationals.
In 2006, he left the Llanelli Scarlets to join Worcester Warriors, signing on a two-year deal.[1] He scored a total of nine tries in 20 appearances in his first season at Sixways.
Gavin has quickly become a cult hero at Sixways with his all-action displays. Quinnell can play at No.8, flanker or lock and has quickly establised himself as a powerful impact player for Warriors.
He grabbed a stunning try against Newcastle Falcons last season as Warriors recorded a thrilling comeback victory and has shown an eye for the try line throughout his Worcester career.
