Gavião Peixoto

Gavião Peixoto is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. The population in 2004 is 4,081 and the area is 244.33 km². The elevation is 515 m.
The Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer has a production plant in Gavião Peixoto, where major components are manufactured and flight testing is conducted. The airport, Embraer Unidade Gavião Peixoto Airport, has the longest runway in the Americas.
