Gavan Naden is the co-author of 'Frances: The Remarkable Story Of Princess Diana's Mother,' and 'The Lilac Days.' Both books were written in collaboration with Maxine Riddington. Gavan Naden is also co-author of 'Bad Hair Day.' (Photos by Nicky Johnston.)

'Frances' is a biography of the Honourable Frances Shand Kydd, the mother of Princess Diana. 'The Lilac Days' is the story of a secret love affair between Princess Diana's Grandfather, Lord Fermoy, and an ordinary American woman, Edith Travis. This account reveals the hundreds of love letters send across the Atlantic, giving insight into their impossible affair. It was published in 2005 in the UK by Harpercollins Pub Ltd. 'Bad Hair Day' is a book of specially commissioned photographs of British celebrities. It was published in 2005 in conjunction with the British charity ChildLine, the UK's 24 hour freephone helpline for young people. ISBN 1-86105-883-7.
