Gauntlet is an upcoming Nintendo DS exclusive hack and slash video game, based on the 1985 arcade game by the identical title (see Gauntlet). The game has been officially announced by Eidos Interactive and scheduled for release on July 22, 2008. The game features an entirely new 3D graphical engine, online four-player mode, 40 maps, and voice chat capabilities.[1] [2]
