[edit] "Operation CENTRE"
Can someone please provide a source for the claim that DDR contingency plans to invade West Berlin were called "Operation CENTRE" and involved an attack on RAF Gatow? 209.195.164.34 16:03, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
- There are sources that the DDR had plans to invade West Berlin, for example http://www.berlin.de/lstu/ausstellung/mfs-wb-plan.html However the name "CENTRE" is not mentioned in this document, so it's unsourced. But you can certainly assume that they would have attacked all Allied installation inside West Berlin which of course included Gatow, even though this invasion map omits it. [edit] rename to RAF Gatow
Shouldnt this page be renamed RAF Gatow, being as most of the content is about the RAF? -- Teutonic Tamer 19:17, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] History section
There is too much, wasted white space below that sections headline. I am in favour of someone removing it if other Wikipedians agree. Pimpom123 15:54, 12 March 2008 (GMT)
