[edit] Speedy deletion of Hans Steiner
A tag has been placed on Hans Steiner, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD g12.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Bfigura (talk) 05:22, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Copyright
Please see my comments on the article's talk page. (Or the large notice on Hans_Steiner). Basically, I can't just take your word for it. best, --Bfigura (talk) 06:07, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
- Hi there. If by fresh, you mean 'from scratch', then yes. (Follow the links on the banner to see where to create the new article). However, before you do start writing, please read our policy on conflict of interest. If you think you can write a neutral, COI-free article, then make sure that what you write is verifiable via reliable sources. (At the risk of making this sound more complicated, you also might want to scan WP:PROF, which is sort of a minimum standard for articles about professors. From what I saw, I think this guy meets the standard, but just double check to be sure). Best, --Bfigura (talk) 07:03, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
- As an update, the article has been deleted as a copy violation. It still can be recreated however, so long as you stick to the guidelines above. To help, I'm adding a welcome template below. Best, --Bfigura (talk) 16:22, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
