[edit] made key improvements to article
I made improvements to the article bringing up to wikipedia standards. I've added references and fixed the numerous copyright infringements by re-writing most of the article in my own words and putting quotations in where there was no substitute. As for notability issues, the previous article didn’t make the district seem notable but after reviewing the information, the district was a key part of the culture and music of the 1960s. Today the district can be used as a prime example of urban renewal.--Bhockey10 (talk) 08:23, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
