[edit] Article name
I'm not entirely happy with the article name. The name really should be GCR, but that's a disambig at present and I think it should stay one. While the term gas cooled reactor almost always means a GCR in older documents, it will increasingly be used for newer types such as those cooled by helium.
The important thing is to provide a way of connecting people who search on or follow links from GCR or gas cooled reactor to the articles on Magnox and UNGG reactors. I think there's also a place for a separate article on GCRs in general, but it could even be covered by those two. Andrewa 22:22, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
On reflection and noticing that the Magnox article uses the term Gas Cooled Reactor (capitalised), I've moved this article (stub, currently) from gas cooled reactor to Gas Cooled Reactor. If a more generic article on gas cooled reactors is warranted (as I suspect it will be one day soon), it can replace the redirect at gas cooled reactor. Or that's the theory! [edit] Disambig page
I intend to create a disambig page called Gas cooled reactor types to index the various articles. Biscuittin 23:38, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
