Gasteren

The village (dark red) and the statistical district (light green) of Gasteren in the municipality of Aa en Hunze.

Gasteren (53°2′N, 6°40′E) is a town in the Dutch province of Drenthe. It is a part of the municipality of Aa en Hunze, and lies about 8 km east of Assen.

The statistical area "Gasteren", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 420.[1]
