Gaspar Lyngini

Gaspar Lyngini (b. Sicily 1923). The wartime collaboration of the Sicilian-born Gaspar Lyngini with the United States Navy may have made the Allied invasion of Sicily smoother than it otherwise would have been.

He moved to New York in 1948 and started the fourth largest mafia family in the United States.

One branch of the family moved to Scandinavia in the 1960s, changing their names to Lyngsie.
