[edit]  ???

Sorry, I don't understand your comment on my talk page. I'm guessing it is about List of largest suspension bridges but you mention a category. I'm baffled. -- Samuel Wantman 04:28, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Template talk:Infobox Commercial Ship

As you may know, there are a variety of infobox templates used for ocean liners; at least one of which is ill-suited to passenger vessels. As a consequence of a discussion with User:Ebyabe at User_talk:Ebyabe#RMS_Queen_Mary, Ebyabe has generously agreed to create a template for passenger vessels. It appears at Template:Infobox Commercial Ship. Its creator needs assistance with the fields for the template. Given your interest in this area, would you be willing to particpate in the project? If so, go to Template talk:Infobox Commercial Ship and weigh in. It may be that different templates are needed for passenger ships (gt), freighters (dwt, net), containerships (TEU) and that one size will not fit all. Would you be interested in participating in this project? We need more input. Thank you. Kablammo 01:40, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ireland article, the flags

That's exactly what I mean, and you seem to be agreeing that the flag section should go, so I don't understand why you voted disagree. --Red King 21:01, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Help with image

Thanks for your note-- I don't know what is going on with the image and I haven't yet ventured into that area of editing. You might want to ask one of the contributors of images-- One was recently made an administrator; perhaps he could help you. Here's his talk page: User_talk:Rklawton. I haven't worked with him but he appears to have a lot of knowledge in this area. Good luck. Kablammo 13:26, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Burj Dubai

Regarding the Burj Dubai if you see something that need fixing than Be bold and do it. If the article is being actively edited (check the history for recent edits) then unless there's an absolutely glaring error, it's usually good manners to discuss changes on the talk page. If you don't get a response in a few days, go ahead and make your changes. --Joopercoopers 08:18, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Naval Architect

Interestingly, I wanted to become an Architect but my father (ex Navy) talked me into Naval Architecture. Small world! I used to work for Kvaerner ... now Aker and am quite familiar with Cruise Ships & Ferries. If I can help out with any of your research, just let me know. Jmvolc (talk) 01:46, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Freedom-Class_Comparison.jpg

Could you possibly upload the vector version of this. I'd like to try changing the 747-statue-train to be a shade of red so that they all clearly contrast against the ship. In the small thumbnail shown on the article, it's not possible to clearly discern the ship super-structure from the statue. —Sladen (talk) 21:48, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
