Corrective lens

Hey, optometry student, the information you contributed is great, but it would be even greater if you would support it with some references. Not only is this a good idea, aligned with wikipedia policy, but in my experience things supported by good references last and resist vandalism and well-intentioned dilution of truth, while unsourced stuff gets corrupted over time, since it's not easy to tell when a change is good or bad. So be a real contributor, and tell us your sources. Dicklyon (talk) 07:48, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

I have replied on your talk page.
I replied there. It's conventional to keep a conversation in one place.
Also, please fix the case of the new headings that you added. We use sentence case, not title case, for headings. Dicklyon (talk) 17:13, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

Hi, Garvin, yes I am still around and would like thank you for your contributions to the corrective_lens page. MichaelGoldshteyn (talk) 19:50, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Again, welcome! --Srleffler (talk) 15:36, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

Tagging articles

There are a whole bunch of tags that can be used to request improvements in an article. There is an index to them here. The tag you want is probably {{expand}}. If a particular section of the article needs expansion, use its cousin {{expand-section}}. These templates are much more valuable if you add a note in the edit summary and/or on the talk page, saying what kind of information you have in mind. All Wikipedia articles need expansion. Tagging an article for expansion is most helpful if you have some specific suggestion of what material to add.--Srleffler (talk) 05:39, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

FYI

Just FYI, it's not considered "polite" (or at least "the Wikipedia way") to delete comments from Talk pages on articles. When things have been addressed, you can add a note saying that it's all taken care of, but people seem to prefer that the discussions be left there. (IMO, not a big deal in this case, but thought you'd like to know.) WhatamIdoing (talk) 00:21, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

Noted. Thanks Garvin Talk 00:27, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

Interested

Thank you for the message (user talk). I am interested (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Medicine/Participants). Please, explain me how to do that. Thanking you.
