[edit] Archie Jackson and George Giffen
Garry, I have reverted your edits to these pages because they use material that is copyrighted to other people, which is not legal. You look to be enthusiastic and knowledgeable about cricket and Wikipedia:WikiProject Cricket would welcome you as a member. But perhaps you should also read Wikipedia:Copyright problems as well. - Please don't link to copyright violations either. http://www.archiejackson.bravehost.com/batsman.html is just an illegal copy of http://content-aus.cricinfo.com/wcm/content/player/6000.html, which we've already got a link to. Stephen Turner (Talk) 10:07, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

- Please stop constantly adding that link in the Archie Jackson article, or you are in danger of being temporarily banned. Thank you. Stephen Turner (Talk) 21:10, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
You have been temporarily blocked from editing Wikipedia for 24 hours after continuing to add spam links, as explained above. If you wish to make useful contributions, you are welcome to come back after the block expires. Sam Vimes | Address me 16:19, 1 August 2006 (UTC) |
Please stop creating articles about yourself. You can add information about yourself to your user page. Academic Challenger 22:18, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
Some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Jack Hughes may not be sufficiently well-known to merit articles of their own. The Wikipedia community welcomes newcomers, and encourages them to become Wikipedians. On Wikipedia, all users are entitled to a user page in which they can describe themselves, and this article's content may be incorporated into that page. However, to merit inclusion in the encyclopedia proper, a subject must be notable. We encourage you to write or improve articles on notable subjects. Wildthing61476 20:25, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
Hi Garry. I see you've been adding links to Archie Jackson, again, and Victor Trumper. The problem with them is that they don't add any new information to what is already in the articles, so they aren't really references that people interested in these cricketers can follow with profit to get more. So I've undone them. Johnlp 21:43, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
