[edit] Tracie Spencer
Please see reply to your question here, and note that changing the information without providing reliable source is against the policy, as per WP:REF and WP:V. PeaceNT 09:27, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or original content, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. – PeaceNT 16:03, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Tracie Spencer's Birthdate
Gardeniagurl, may i suggest you take a look at vandalism, and biographies and even conflict of interest, and see if your edits of Tracie Spencer's birth year is appropriate. The references given are very clear that the year is 1976, not 1978. If you have other, verifiable, public information, please post it, and make the change; otherwise, the 1976 should stay. Cheers, Lindsay 22:19, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Verifiability
Please remember that, under Wikipedia policy, we are concerned with verifiability, not truth. When it comes to information such as birthdates, we have to go with what reliable sources say, even if you have "inside information" that says differently. [edit] Multi-Cultural
Copied from Tracie Spencer talk page: Without trying to be a jerk, i have reverted the edit by User:Gardeniagurl which described Spencer as "multi-cultural" for two, probably linked, reasons. She is not shown in the text to be of many cultures, but fully American (different descents, certainly), and the phrase was red-linked, which, to me, indicates it's a poor choice of describing what is meant. [edit] Picture
Gardeniagurl, you have mentioned before that you work for or with Tracie Spencer in your edit summary for your edit of 22 Jan, 07; could you then provide a usable picture of her ~ it would improve the article. WP:IUP will help you be sure we have the right to use it, and how to upload it, &c. Cheers, Lindsay 07:39, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Tracie.jpeg
Thank you for uploading Image:Tracie.jpeg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 12:39, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Duplicate images uploaded
Thanks for uploading Image:TracieSpencer.jpeg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Tracie.jpeg. The copy called Image:Tracie.jpeg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.
This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot (talk) 13:00, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image source problem with Image:TracieSpencer.jpeg
Thanks for uploading Image:TracieSpencer.jpeg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 17:25, 2 March 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Genisock2 (talk) 17:25, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
