I have actually had dinner with Dr. Habermas, being a sutdent at Liberty University. He is a great guy and just really down to earth.65.161.73.250 16:57, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
The description claims that Gary Habermas has a doctor of divinity degree from "Emmanuel College, Oxford." This claim may be found online here: http://www.arn.org/arnproducts/php/video_show_item.php?id=64
But there's just one small problem with that--there is no Emmanuel College at Oxford University, and the link is to the Wikipedia page of Emmanuel College at Cambridge, not Oxford.
Habermas's current online resume does not list this D.D. degree: http://www.garyhabermas.com/habermas_resume.htm
So what's the story behind this claim? Did a third-party misreport this degree, does Habermas have any such degree? Lippard (talk) 23:34, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
I see that an anonymous editor has removed the claim from Wikipedia, yet it persists in numerous other descriptions of Habermas on the Internet and is still deserving of an explanation rather than simply editing away the claim. Lippard (talk) 04:19, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
