[edit] Garrincha's dog
It's a popular legend (at least in the UK) that the stray dog that came onto the pitch in the 1962 WC game between Brazil and England was adopted by Garrincha. See Jimmy Greaves and http://www.garrinchasdog.com/about/ Is there any truth in this legend? Jooler 15:04, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
- Its not mentioned in Alex Bellos' Futebol: The Brazilian Way of Life, which has a chapter devoted to Garrincha. Oldelpaso 15:55, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
