Any ideas what's left to improve? This article only 3M before was really crap and almost everything has changed since then (except for the goat bit :) ) --Jinxs 11:41, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

I will add some stuff I believe can be improved. Feel free to edit the list. --ChaChaFut 03:12, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
  • Needs club career info expanded
  • Needs source for club appearances and goals
  • Needs infobox
  • Needs 1958 and 1962 World Cups info expanded - WC section in decent shape. Could probably use some info on the match against France in 1958, and any farewell matches he might have had (club or NT)
  • The references an notes section needs to be in the correct format(s) (or maybe I don't exactly understand how it works...)
  • Needs additional picture(s)

[edit] Garrincha's dog

It's a popular legend (at least in the UK) that the stray dog that came onto the pitch in the 1962 WC game between Brazil and England was adopted by Garrincha. See Jimmy Greaves and http://www.garrinchasdog.com/about/ Is there any truth in this legend? Jooler 15:04, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

Its not mentioned in Alex Bellos' Futebol: The Brazilian Way of Life, which has a chapter devoted to Garrincha. Oldelpaso 15:55, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Death

How did he die? There are no details at all. Sir-Nobby 17:51, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
