Talk:Garnierite

I do not know a summarizing article on garnierite which could be cited. Probably it does not exist. There are many papers on nickel laterites with garnierite analyses and I myself analyzed many samples from various deposits by x-ray and chemical methods. All analyses showed the diversity of the included Ni-minerals which are all well-known layer silicates with a substantial substitution if Mg by Ni. There are partially specific names e.g pimelite, some of them are already dropped. I avoided to cite them in Wikipedia to avoid confusion. --Schellat (talk) 12:36, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
