Dck25 - I can tell you've put a lot of work into the tables. I've worked with piped tables and know they're not fun to edit. I think this would really benefit from a rewrite without using tables. Feel free to drop me a not on my talk page. --Geneb1955Talk/CVU 04:00, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Schools within the district

When I try to click on any of the Garnet Valley schools, such as Bethel Springs Elementary School, I come up to page where it says Object not found and Error 404. I tried to fix the links, but I couldn't find the correct or newly updated address to get me directly to any of the schools in the Garnet Valley School District website.

I've fixed the problem. Only now you don't see Bethel Springs Elementary, Garnet Valley High School, and so on. I don't know if other Wikipedians want to use the old version where you see the list of schools, or the new one where you can only see numbers from 1 to 5, but you can click on the links without any Errors.

I arranged the numbers next to the schools. For example, there is a number 5, which sort of looks like this [5], and I put the [5] right after Garnet Valley High School. Click on the [5], and it will take you right to Garnet Valley High School at the Garnet Valley School District website.

I used the sandbox to do more experimenting with the link, and I've figured out the problem, so the numbers from one to five were removed and replaced to the old version. I also noted that the source at the bottom was the official district website of Garnet Valley, as opposed to other sites that have information on the district, but may not have the same accuracy or be as much of a reliable source.

[edit] Trivia and Statistics

The superintendent's salory may be "true", but I don't think it's relevant enough to the article itself for it to stay there.--U.S.A.U.S.A.U.S.A. (talk contribs) 20:56, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

I agree. Also, the bit about being the fastest growing school district in PA isn't sourced--I think that was true maybe 4-5 years ago, but probably isn't now. I'm going to take those parts out. Kellwie 17:15, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

I disagree. Also, two opinions does not establish a consensus for removal.

[edit] Concord and Francis Harvey Green

Some of the information about Concord Elementary and Francis Harvey Green was slightly inaccurate, so I rewrote that section a bit. Basically, Concord Elementary moved into a new building and the old building (now called Pennington School) is being leased to the DCIU. It isn't being used by Garnet Valley to educate special needs students, but by the IU to educate student from all over the county (subtle difference!). Also, Francis Harvey Green didn't severe its relationship with the district--the district still owns the building, but leases it as well to the DCIU (since 1991). I'm not sure about citing references but I left the links that showed the relevant info in there just in case. Kellwie 17:03, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
