[edit] Happy Birthday, Garfield

When I got the book Garfield At 25: In Dogs' Years I'd be Dead, it mentioned something about Happy Birthday, Garfield on the entertainment section and had a video box cover. What is exactley Happy Birthday, Garfield, besides a TV special? Ryan Holloway 22:32, 11 September 2007 (UTC)Ryan Holloway

[edit] Re-addition of archived talk page content

User:Ryan Holloway re-added archived portions of this talk page, with the edit summary Why can we not have it?. Since the re-addition didn't make sense to make nor did the edit summary explain why old content (starting) from July 2006.

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Garfieldand friends.gif

Image:Garfieldand friends.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Garfield minus Garfield

[edit] lasagna cat

There is a link to LasagnaCat.com tribute to garfield in External Links section, but there is no mention of this project in the article itself ... I think it should be either 1)in the article somewhere and then in the links or 2)none of these .... this looks more like spam (I know it is not, because the LasagnaCat.com project is great, but well, it should be at least mentioned before linking)--Have a nice day. I read an article in The Onion that of course itself was a parody (like everything in The Onion) about Garfield written from an Onion reporter who has stumbled upon this unknown secret gem (Garfield) and tells people they should discover it, too. Anyway, she says how Garfield likes lasagna and his bed *IS* a lasagna pan. All of sudden, something clicks in my mind and it makes *total* sense to me! Is there any truth to this or is this Onion reporter assuming? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.249.63.153 (talk) 20:51, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

im so glad to know the onion is a parody i had been beliving it —Preceding unsigned comment added by A plague of rainbows (talkcontribs) 13:57, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] marriage is not a prerequisite for conception

but the further mystery occurs as to how Jon could even have a niece if his only brother, Doc Boy, is not married.

the mystery vanishes —Preceding unsigned comment added by A plague of rainbows (talkcontribs) 15:13, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Cartoonist

Jon's never seen actually drawing, but check out the comic for September 14th 1978. Looks almost as if he was drawing before getting distracted. [4] —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.157.223.54 (talk) 20:45, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] ?

Jon BL's in all the cartoons.

I deleted this statement, it means nothing. it needs to be reworded or referenced. What the hel does BL as a verb mean? --Brideshead (talk) 08:35, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
