I'm told by my father (b. Canberra, 1932) that the original Canberra railway station was not in Garema Place, but where the "Times Square" building is (Which is named because the Canberra Times used to have its building there too). —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mgoodhew (talkcontribs)

According to the Australian Railway Historical Society's Short History of Railways in Canberra the Kingston to Civic line terminated at Garema Place. However there were a number of other temporary lines and several proposals to build a line north to the NSW border and Yass. The 1927 FCC plan shows a line across the Causeway and running parallel to Northbourne Ave near Mort St. Gimboid13 17:30, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Emos

There are a lot of emos in Garema Place these days. They should totally go away. I wish they weren't there. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.165.252.203 (talk) 08:48, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
