[edit] Moore quote, placing it somehow in the article?
I transcribed this quote from the referred file that follows. It has pertinent info for the article, but I was having a difficult time working it in an encyclpopedic manner:
The following quote of Stanton Moore from a radio WWOZ interview in April 1998 describes the formation that led to Garage A Trois:
Why did you call this record "All Kooked Out?"
...at first Dan (Prothero) was like, "Oh yeah man, you gotta call it this..." he's like, "come on man, Charlie Hunter and Skerik and you 'n y'all's the biggest bunch a kookers I've ever met." Which is kinda why I wanted to get Charlie Hunter and Skerik together... I played with Charlie just a touch. He came and sat in with Galactic and we met. We just really enjoyed playing with each other and we decided we would love to get the chance to play with each other. So when this opportunity came up to do this record I just called him up and asked him, "Well, do you want to come down and do it ?" and he's like, "Yeah, I'd love to." So Skerik played with Galactic on our first tour and I've gotten to play with him off and on for a few years now. So when Dan offered the opportunity to do this record I thought in my head, "Who'd I want to get?" and I was like, "Man, getting Charlie Hunter and Skerik together would just be insane 'cause they're both just really fun guys to hang around with and just, you know, quirky and just funny and just great musicians...
