Gary Winnick is an international financier and philanthropist with a global investment career spanning more than three decades. He is founder and chairman of Pacific Capital Group, a diversified private equity investment and merchant banking firm. He also founded Global Crossing Limited, a telecommunications company providing worldwide computer networking services. He was chairman from the company's inception, 1997, until 2002. He also worked at investment bank Drexel Burnham Lambert.[1]
