Gary Locke (English footballer)

Gary Locke (born 12 July 1954 in Park Royal) is a retired English footballer.

A right-back, Locke spent much of his career at Chelsea, making over 300 appearances for the West London side between 1972 and 1983. He was voted player of the year in the 1974-1975 season. He scored his first league goal away at Coventry on 24th August 1974.He later moved to Crystal Palace, before finishing his career in Sweden with Halmstads BK.


Gary now lives with his wife in Napier, New Zealand.
