Gary Evans (born 22 February 1969) is an English golfer.

Evans represented Great Britain & Ireland in the 1991 Walker Cup and turned professional later that year. He earned membership of the European Tour on his first visit to the Qualifying School. He has been a consistent performer on the European Tour and in his best season in 2002 he finished 21st on the Order of Merit, but he has not won a European Tour tournament. The highlight of his career came at the 2002 Open Championship at Muirfield where he was in contention on the final day and finished in a tie for fifth place, just one stroke outside the four man play-off, eventually won by Ernie Els. He missed the second half of the 2005 season with back and shoulder problems which eventually required surgery.
