Gary Bryan is a radio disc jockey, currently on the air in Los Angeles, California at KRTH 101.1 FM. He is a veteran broadcaster, having been on-air at Z100 in New York City and in virtually every major market in the United States. In 1998 he was the morning host on KJR-FM in his hometown of Seattle, Washington. Gary was a part of the early Seattle Rock and Roll scene. He was a respected bass player in the band "Mack" with Brian Davidson on guitar, Tony Lake vocals, and Don Kellogg on drums. In the early 70's Gary left the band and was replaced by bassist Hugh Gerrard. The band broke up when Gary's friend Brian Davidson died of a drug overdose. Gary's radio career began in 1975 at WDHF in Chicago, Illinois. He has also appeared on KFRC and KYA, both in San Francisco. He also hosts the national oldies programs entitled, "Inside the 60's" and "Rewind" through his production company, Radio Genius and syndicated via MannGroup Radio.
On K-Earth he has a "flying fickle finger of fate" which he points out an offbeat story somewhere in the world. The flying fickle finger of fate was originally used in Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In.
