Gary Alexander (born August 15, 1979 in South London) is an English football player who plays for League One side Millwall.
He began his career with West Ham United, but his first taste of senior football came with a very successful loan spell at Exeter City in the 1999/2000 season. Alexander scored 16 goals in 37 league games for the Grecians, and this convinced Swindon Town to sign him for £500,000 In July 2000.
Alexander's time at Swindon was not a success, though, and he moved to ambitious Hull City a year later. A superb first season saw him score 23 goals, but the following season he was not as prolific. In January 2003 he moved to Leyton Orient where he soon became a first team regular. Alexander rejected a new deal in May 2007. On 1 July 2007 he joined Millwall, the team he supported as a boy.
