Garth Hill College

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Garth Hill College (also Garth Hill, The Garth Hill College and Garth) is a technology college in Bracknell, England. It was formed in 1956, the principal being Mr James Bourton. The Garth Hill College is on the same site as Wick Hill Centre, a college linked with Garth.

The current principal is Mr Keith Grainger who took over from Mr Stan Turner in September 2007. The Garth Hill College is one of the most leading comprehensive schools in England and serving as a college increases the difficulty of children being able to find a place at the school. The Garth Hill College is undergoing a whole new re-build which is due to be completed at the end of 2010 - the project is going to cost over thirty-two million pounds.

The college is situated in the suburban town of Bracknell in the rural county of Berkshire where it has also been recognised as the third best school in Berkshire.
