Garth Brooks and the Magic of Christmas is the second holiday album, and twelfth overall of American country music artist Garth Brooks. Released on November 23, 1999, it hit #1 on the Billboard country music charts and #7 on Billboard's pop chart. One million copies have been sold through 2006. Two years after this album's release, Brooks released a very-similar follow-up album, Songs from Call Me Claus, which contained most of the songs from this release. The only tracks which weren't carried over were "White Christmas," "God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen," and "Go Tell It on the Mountain."
