Garry Hogg

Garry Hogg (1902-1976) was an author, journalist, reviewer, broadcaster and lecturer.

He studied English Language and Literature at the University of Oxford (UK), and went on to become a schoolmaster He was an officer of the National Book League from 1945-48.

He uses his own photographs to illustrate his own travel books, and his other pastimes include joinery. He studies country crafts and travels whenever possible. He sometimes writes in collaboration with his wife Elizabeth Grey, and together they resided on the Kent and Sussex border in the United Kingdom.
