The Lichfield Garrick is a council-run theatre[1] in Lichfield, a city in Staffordshire, England that was formed when the old Civic Hall was remodelled in 2002.
As well as adding a fly tower and orchestra pit to the main auditorium, the theatre was remodelled, so that new front of house areas could be built, and better backstage access provided.
The main auditorium seats 490 people and there is also a black box theatre theatre which is used for smaller productions, as a rehearsal space, and for lectures and occasional live music performances.
The theatre is named after the actor David Garrick, who was brought up in Lichfield.
Productions include musicals by local amateur companies, opera, ballet and other touring productions. The theatre also plays host to a yearly Christmas pantomime.
