Garrett Weber-Gale (born August 6, 1985) is a two-time U.S. National Swim Team member[2], who swam on 4 X 100 gold medal relay teams at the Swimming World Championships in Montreal, Canada (2005) and Melbourne, Australia (2007). In 2006, he was the NCAA Division I Champion in the 100 freestyle [1]. In 2004, Weber-Gale, with University of Texas team mates Aaron Peirsol, Brendan Hansen and Ian Crocker, set a world record in the 4 X 100 short course meter medley relay [2] in a time of 3:25.38.
Weber-Gale began his competitive career as a YMCA age-group swimmer. He set a national public high school record in the 100 yard freestyle in 2003 with a time of 43.49. [3]

Weber-Gale has a particular interest in cooking and has been featured as an aspiring chef on KTBC Fox 7 in Austin, Texas [4]. He is an avid "foodie" who believes in healthy eating and has begun to develop healthful recipes of his own.
