Garrett Tierney

Garrett Tierney (born October 22, 1980) is an American Musician from Long Island, New York.

Garrett Tierney is the bassist for Brand New. Before joining his current band, Garrett in the late 1990s was in another band called The Rookie Lot along with other Brand New band members such as Jesse Lacey, and Brian Lane. The Rookie Lot had a sound similar to post-hardcore, and was said to be heavily influenced by the group Lifetime. He has a twin brother named Shaun. Garrett is also known to be an avid skydiver and motorcyclist. He recently formed a skateboarding gang with some fellow skydivers known as "The Sparrows." He also started up a web-based business with a good buddy that consumes a majority of their time.
