Garibaldi School is a school which was built in the 1960s. Based on the borders of the Mansfield and Sherwood districts, it is positioned for the young Clipstone and Forest Town community to access. It provides children from 11-16 with a GCSE education and 16-18 year olds with an advanced GCE or VCE education with their sixth form.

[edit] Investments

With help from the governments specialist status scheme it is now a specialist computing and mathematics college and hence has received a large amount of investment, which has been put to good use by building new mathematics classrooms, major upgrades to the ICT facilities and improvements to the Physical Education department. The school now has a new title: Garibaldi Maths and Computing College. Prior to this the school was simply called Garibaldi Comprehensive School, or familiarly, Gara.
