Garib Rath ("poor's chariot") is a train service offered by Indian Railways. It is fully air-conditioned, but the fare is substantially lower compared to Rajdhani Express or Shatabdi Express. The first Garib Rath service was from Saharsa to Amritsar; the service is currently offered from Patna to Nizamudin (Delhi), Bandra to Nizamudin, Chennai to Nizamudin, Secunderabad to Yesvantpur(Bangalore), Kochuveli (Trivandrum) to Lok Manya Tilak (Mumbai), Bandra to Jaipur and Ranchi to Bhubaneswar. New Garib Raths announced in 2008 Budget are:
1. Jaipur-Chandigarh (Tri-weekly) via Rewari-Bhiwani
2. Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Express (Tri-weekly)
3. Varanasi-Delhi (Tri-weekly)
4. Bangalore-Kochuveli(Tri-Weekly)
5. Ranchi-Delhi (Bi-weekly)
6. Jammu Tawi-Kathgodam (Weekly) (in lieu of Nizamuddin-Dehradun Garib Rath Express announced in the Railway Budget (2007-08).
7. Yesvantpur-Puducherry (Tri-weekly)
8. Jabalpur-Mumbai (Bi-weekly)
9. Delhi-Jaynagar (Bi-Weekly) via Patna
10. Pune-Nagpur (Tri-weekly)
